Stuffies

Pillow Pets have spawned a million knock-offs. Here’s number one million and one – Stuffies. So what is a stuffie, or would it be stuffy? It’s a pillow and it is a pet…you know, for kids. Sound familiar?

So what’s different with Stuffies? 7 secret pockets, and as they say in the infomercial, it’s what is inside that counts.

Each one comes with a secret gift inside one of these secret pockets. I’m really curious as to just what that might be. There’s different kinds of Stuffies, such as the Bear, Horse, Giraffe (with an exceptionally short neck, I might add), Dinosaur, Hippo, and Dog.

Now we are talking that these are the Stuffies dreams are made of. See what I did there? I know, clever.

I don’t know – color my cynical, but there’s something about the zippered mouth on these things that I think would creep a kid out. Maybe it’s just me.

According to stuffies.com, they are selling out, limited quantities, etc. so scarcity is a sign that not everyone is creeped out by the zipper teeth thing. Oh well. What do I know?
